The High Commission works to fulfill the mandate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica in strengthening bilateral relations between Jamaica and Canada and to safeguard the interests and welfare of Jamaican nationals throughout the various communities across Canada.  This mandate is based on a firm commitment to provide efficient, effective and courteous service.

The High Commission continues to value the support of the Jamaican/Canadian community, government officials, businesses, and the wider public in efforts to expand the trade, investment and employment ties and the strengthening of tourism and cultural linkages between Jamaica and Canada.  To this end, this web-site seeks to provide information and links to other appropriate economic and political developments sites, inter alia, in Jamaica, investment opportunities in various sectors as well as current regulations on doing business in Jamaica.

Information has also been given on a range of consular services provided, including the processes for applying for documents issued by the Government of Jamaica.
